01 DAY: ARRIVE CAPE TOWN

Upon arrival at Cape Town International Airport, a Travcare representative meets you for a transfer to your pre-booked hotel.

Cape Town is one of the most popular long haul destinations in the world. Due to its unique topography, it is also one of the easiest places in which to orientate oneself as long as you remember that with Table Mountain behind you and Robben Island before you; you are facing north, looking across Table Bay and up the west coast of Africa. 02 DAY: CAPE TOWN – CITY TOUR

After breakfast leave for full day Cape Point Tour. Visit Hout Bay, Chapman’s Peak, the Cape of Good Hope Nature Reserve, Cape Point. Click the penguins at Boulders Beach, tour Groot Constantia and visit the Kirstenbosch Botanical Gardens. Overnight in Cape Town. Overnight at Hotel

03 DAY: CAPE TOWN

Breakfast is taken at the hotel. The day is free. OR take an optional Wineland Tour of the Paarl, Franschhoek and Stellenbosch winelands, a perfect for wine lovers. OR take an optional tour to visit Robben Island, used as a prison for nearly 400yrs, where the world’s most famous prisoner Nelson Mandela was kept for 27yrs. Overnight in Cape Town.

04 DAY: CAPE TOWN – OUDTSHOORN

After breakfast leave for Oudtshoorn. It is known as the ‘Feather Capital of the World’ thanks to its huge ostrich industry.

On way you will visit a crocodile Park where you have opportunity to take pictures with Cheetah. In Oudtshoorn you go underground to marvel at the icy formations in the Cango Caves, regarded as one of South Africa’s most spectacular natural wonders. Check into hotel and spend rest of evening in the comfort of your hotel. Overnight at Hotel

05 DAY: OUDTSHOORN – KNYSNA

After breakfast leave for Knysna. Arrive & leave for a cruise on the vast Knysna Lagoon

Enjoy an amazing view of the imposing sandstone ‘Heads’ which guard the sea entrance to Knysna’s huge tidal lagoon, and the forests, marshes and pristine beaches surrounding it. After lunch (own account) spend the rest of the day discovering the joys of the town’s many art galleries, craft shops and coffee bars. Afternoon you check in the hotel. Overnight at Hotel

06 DAY: KNYSNA – GEORGE – JOBURG – SUN CITY

After breakfast transfer to George airport to board a flight to Joburg. Arrive Joburg and transfer to Sun City.

The Sun City complex is surrounded by two championship golf courses, numerous swimming pools and a huge man made lake offering various water sports. Optional activities include Hot Air Ballooning. Enjoy lunch at the Raj Restaurant (own account). Then you could relax at the Valley of the Waves, or take a walk through the gardens of the Lost City. This magical city knows no limits – you have the chance to win a fortune at the Casino and Entertainment Centre, there are lavish extravaganzas and a multitude of restaurants to cater for every taste. Overnight at Hotel  

07 DAY: SUN CITY

After breakfast you can enjoy various activities in the entertainment complex or choose any of the outdoor activities – Hot air ballooning, Game drives, Jet Skiing, Parasailing, Golfing, water sports etc. Overnight at Hotel  

08 DAY: SUN CITY – JOHANNESBURG

After breakfast Today, you will travel to Pretoria, South Africa political capital for a brief city tour. Later travel towards Johannesburg visit Gold Reef City, built to replicate an old mining town. Walk through the original homes of the miners and mine bosses, watch a gold bar being poured and then descend into the depths of a real gold mine. Overnight in Johannesburg.

09 DAY JOHANNESBURG – KRUGER NATIONAL PARK

Breakfast at hotel, Today, drive to Kruger National Park, the world renowned offers wildlife experience that ranks with the best in Africa. On arrival check-in at your accommodation. Later in the afternoon enjoy game drive from your vehicle (time permitting). Overnight in Kruger National Park.

10 DAY: KRUGER NATIONAL PARK

After breakfast, Today enjoy morning and afternoon game drives. Kruger has more species of Wildlife than any other game sanctuary in Africa and its here that you see the ‘Big Five’. Overnight in Kruger National Park.

11DAY: KRUGER NATIONAL PARK  – JOHANNESBURG

After breakfast Today you travel back to Johannesburg via the scenic panoramic route. On arrival in Johanneburg (time permitting) enjoy a brief city tour of Johannesburg. Overnight in Johannesburg

12 DAY: JOHANNESBURG  

After breakfast, This morning you will be transferred by hotel shuttle service to Johannesburg airport for your flight back home. (A Private transfer can be arranged at an additional charge.)
